Just got the word that Miley was shooting a new music video! I have seen a video, and it seems like Miley was shooting a music video for The Best of Both Worlds. Whaaaat?! Did she re-record that song or something? Or maybe there’s a summer version for that song? Which is the reason for all the surfboards and stuff. Or is it for the HM Movie? Let’s just wait and see. Video link below.

Earlier that day, Miley grabbed some early Starbucks coffee with her mom, Tish. Afterwards, they headed over to a Malibu beach where Miley filmed the video.

She went there with her friends & family. And we have a picture of her and friends riding The Simpsons Ride. Looks like it was fun!

Later from July 9, Miley spent some alone time… which ended up as a paparazzi-swarm time. She wore a fancy dress, and she looks great!

Also, did anyone notice the parts that we saw Miley was shooting, but weren’t in the music video? Like the part where she smashed the guitar, and the part where she has the spray paint? Anyhow, it’s still a good video!

To all the Asian fans who missed the premiere from tonight, Disney Channel Asia has a surprise for you. Don’t put away those 3-D goggles just yet! Tomorrow, June 22 at 10AM is an encore of the concert! Afterwards, they’ll show the 2-D version of the concert at 7:30PM. Don’t miss it!

Unfortunately, I wasn’t able to capture the concert. Hopefully some Asian fans were able to cap it. If so, please share! I’m afraid I won’t be able to cap it tomorrow either.

Tomorrow is the World TV Premiere for ‘The Best of Both Worlds Movie Concert in 3D!’ Tune in to Disney Channel [Asia] on June 21; 9:00 PM, and catch the most anticipated movie concert of the year! This is a one time opportunity. Disney Channel Asia is no longer going to re-run the 3D version of the concert in the next following months. I know that because I’ve emailed them about it. If ever you didn’t get the chance to watch the 3D version or if your provider ran out of free 3D glasses, Disney Channel Asia will air a 2D version on Sunday, June 22; 10AM [rumored] and 7:30PM! NEW YORK — Billy Ray Cyrus says he wasn’t around when Annie Leibovitz photographed his 15-year-old daughter, Miley, wrapped in a sheet with her back exposed, for the June issue of Vanity Fair.

“I wasn’t there at the time,” the 46-year-old country star said in an interview Tuesday on NBC’s “Today” show.
Miley’s “publicist was there, and everyone seemed in control,” he said. “I didn’t know they [were] going to strip her down and wrap her with a blanket.”

“So I was surprised when I saw it, you know, but . . . stuff happens. That’s life. Things happen and sometimes things get a little out of control and you just gotta deal with life,” he said. “Again, it’s peaks and valleys and ups and downs.”

Cyrus, who costars with Miley in Disney Channel’s “Hannah Montana,” said Leibovitz was a “good person and a great photographer,” but, looking back, he would have stayed to chaperon the photo shoot.

Another photo in the Vanity Fair spread that caused a stir was the image of Miley in a black tank top that revealed her midriff as Cyrus held her in his arms.

When asked if that photo was a mistake, Cyrus said: “It’s not a mistake to me. If it is to someone else, I’m sorry if I offended somebody, but no, that’s just a daddy that loves his daughter a whole lot.”

Cyrus said he and Miley “got caught up in this adventure that we’ve gone through with this dream, and what we do for a living. . . . We both love acting, we love making music and we love each other. I’m her dad and she’s my daughter, so if a daddy hasn’t hugged his daughter recently, I’d recommend he does.”

The music video for 7 Things will premiere on June 28. Tune in to ABC, and wait for their broadcast of ‘The Haunted Mansion’. Miley will host a special segment where we can see Miley shooting the video for 7 Things! Then Miley and director Brett Ratner will introduce the video. Be sure to keep tuned into ABC on the 28th!

Does anyone else get the sense that Miley’s parents don’t exactly have a consistent sense of what is “appropriate” for teenaged consumption? Sure, she was allowed to pose in Vanity Fair, wearing only a sheet but apparently, the fictional “Sex and the City” movie would be to risqué, according to her mom.

Miley Cyrus is reportedly begging her mom to go with her to the R-rated Sex and the City movie, since she’s too young to go herself!

In Touch reports that Miley is a huge fan of the show, although she’s only been able to watch the censored version on TV. “She really wants to see the movie, though, and since a non-censored version isn’t available yet, she’s pleading with her mom to make an exception.”

Miley has even compared Hannah Montana to Sex and the City saying that “the way the friends are, the way that it’s dry and they all have distinct characters - that’s a thing we try to do on our show.”
